Judging Amy

"Okay, so she's smart." Hannibal said. He lit his cigar, earning a glare from BA in the driving seat.

"She cornered you." Face agreed.

Murdock grinned. Hannibal frowned. "But she's young, pretty naïve."

"She's a journalist." Murdock said. "She's probably less naïve than you think, Colonel,"

"She could be handy on scams." Face said.

"And she could be a liability in the field." Hannibal said.

"She could give us a lot of good publicity. Free." Face argued.

"Do we want publicity?" Hannibal asked.

"If we want clients. And who knows, maybe it will get the attention of someone in Washington. Someone who can change things for us."

They were quiet for a few minutes, thinking. Then Murdock spoke.

"She's cute." He pointed out.

"Is that a good point or a problem?" Hannibal asked, with a glance at Face.

"Hannibal!" Face protested at once. "I swear, I'd treat her like a sister."

"Like your sister." Hannibal said.

"That's what I meant." Face said.

"BA?" Hannibal said.

BA glanced over at Hannibal, at his cigar.

"She smoke?"

"I don't think so."

BA shrugged. "She can stay."
