	I'm working my way through the slash stories on the VA Archive and listing those I think are worth giving a try. I'll add more as I work my way through. One day I'll do Gen too!

	A About Face by Clairon Some minor errors and annoyances, but otherwise well written and an interesting take on the genesis of the team. It even subverts the "weepy Face always getting raped" cliché in chapter 1. Worth a go, long and dramatic and there are sequels if you like it. Against Love's Fire by Witchbaby A PWP, pretty hot and intriguing narrative of Murdock's thoughts during the sex. Short and steamy. All Its Mystery by Glenda Wobbly on this one, there's rather a lot of talking about relationships. A tad pedestrian. It's one I wouldn't hate having to read, but wouldn't go back to probably. Aluminium Bellies by Fingers and Val Slightly odd and a few too many epithets, but points for Face topping and for making it a "friends with benefits" thing rather than the greatest love the world has ever known! And Then the Morning Comes by Major Brat Nothing that stands out good or bad. Readable. As Long As You Love Me So by Emmastark PWP, pretty hot and a tad kinky, given than BA and Hannibal are asleep in the same room while Face and Murdock are to to naughtiness under the blankets (it's like the big brother house!) No blatant OOC, really quite fun. Top
	B Backwoods Breakdown by JD Sampson I like this one a lot. It's set in the 1970s not long after the escape and Face is having a rough time. Face is pretty emotional, but not in a cliché poor, weepy, weak, Facey way. More right on the edge and trying to hang on. Which is fairly justifiable in that time period. Quite sensual and sexy when it gets to the love scene. Behind The Cup A Joe's by Cabaret Some pesky grammar issues, but rather hot and sexy. Breakdown Turnaround by JD Sampson A sequel to Backwoods Breakdown. Not quite as good, but I still enjoyed it. Has some slightly overwrought dialogue, but retains enough control of the emotion to be intense without going over the top. Top
	C Camerado by Lamardeuse Unusual and lyrical with the use of poetry. It's like what songfics want to be when they grow up. Come on, Baby, Light My Fire by Emmastark Vietnam based story, kind of gritty, but sexy too. Come Out, Come Out... by Maestro Comedy, and very funny. How could anyone think Face and Murdock are lovers? They have a totally innocent affection don't they? They're just affectionate. Covered In by Therm Slight, but fun fluff. Face and Murdock in a sticky situation. Top
	D Dark Passage by Elizabeth Kent Long and plotty and kind of dark. A few nits, but takes its time to get the characters to where they need to be. Darkest Hour by Witchbaby Short and pretty hot. Sort of a PWP, but with depth. Dies Irea, Dies Spero by Lark Dark and intriguing drama with supernatural elements. Top
	E Early Morning Blues and Greens by Witchbaby Sexy PWP and kind of funny at the end. A sex scene with suspense! Top
	F First Time by Lacey McBain A nice "first time" story set in Vietnam that does include instant happy ever after. Fortune's Fool by Elizabeth Kent A slightly sad, angsty Face based story, pairing him with an OC, but in love with someone else. Top
	G Ghosts by Reckless A dramatic and rather sad and bleak story about Face's first love in Vietnam. Goldilocks by Face's New Flame Yes, I do like some fluff now and again, at least as long as it's like this, sappy without becoming total mush. Top
